“I don’t build projects — I build systems that outlast them.”
With over 20 years in management consulting and banking operations, I’ve contributed to and led large-scale transformation initiatives across the U.S. and Canada that redefined performance, risk, and return. In the SMB consulting arena, my work has spanned profit and expense control, organizational design and management systems, operations control and management, quality systems management, sales and marketing planning, job-cost control, and executive management control frameworks — all centered on helping owners and leadership teams convert complexity into clarity and consistent performance.
My work has consistently bridged two worlds: the precision of banking governance and the momentum of agile execution.
As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Scrum Master, and holder of an MBA in Finance and Banking from Case Western Reserve University’s Weatherhead School of Business, I’ve delivered operational and process improvements for institutions such as J.P. Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo — strengthening data governance, risk controls, and regulatory reporting frameworks while embedding agile decision cycles that deliver measurable results.
I’m the author of Scrum Mastery: A Practical Desk Guide — a field manual that continues to gain global traction among practitioners and organizations for its direct, real-world approach to team leadership and execution. Since its release, the book has generated a growing wave of outreach and collaboration from professionals across industries who’ve shared how its principles are helping them unlock clarity, confidence, and measurable team results.
My current research and upcoming publications expand this mission: Servant Leadership: The Genius of Leading from Behind and The Nine Whys Protocol™ (9W) — a pre-decision validity model that could potentially reshape how leaders test ideas before committing capital, strategy, or reputation.
As Founder of Tideforge Capital, I’m advancing a proprietary, analytics-driven capital platform engineered for modern finance — merging receivables analytics, freight-brokerage intelligence, and structured project finance under one adaptive operating system. Tideforge isn’t just a firm; it’s a live demonstration of what disciplined innovation looks like when operational design, data science, and leadership frameworks converge.
My broader body of work includes developing the Voice of the Engineer™ (VoE™) and Agility Flywheel™ frameworks — both designed to re-humanize continuous improvement and restore clarity to complex organizations.
Beyond my professional ventures, I’m deeply committed to empowering at-risk youth and homeless children — personally mentoring, sponsoring, and supporting them through school, trade, or apprenticeship until they graduate and begin earning sustainable income. This work isn’t a side mission; it’s part of my life’s purpose — ensuring that potential never goes unrealized for lack of opportunity or guidance.
I’m also the author of Willy the Willow Seed (pen name Hatley Burris) — a children’s story about growth and purpose, originally written for my granddaughter and now read by families worldwide.
Today, my focus is on building enterprises and frameworks that simplify complexity, accelerate trust, and convert clarity into performance — while continuing to invest in the next generation of leaders, dreamers, and builders.
“If your organization, institution, or mandate thrives on measurable transformation — let’s connect.”

Scrum Mastery: A Practical Desk Guide: Driving Agile Success in Complex Organizations
Scrum has become one of the most widely adopted frameworks for Agile delivery—yet research shows that most organizations struggle to sustain its benefits. The 15th State of Agile Report (2021) found that while 94% of companies report using Agile, only 6% consider their adoption “highly successful.” More recently, McKinsey (2023) confirmed that fewer than one in three agile transformations achieve their goals. The problem isn’t Scrum itself—it’s how organizations adopt and sustain it. Too often, adoption is treated as a linear rollout: train the teams, launch the ceremonies, scale the model. Without a mechanism for renewal, organizations inevitably slide back into old command-and-control habits.
Scrum Mastery: A Practical Desk Guide is designed to close this gap. Drawing on two decades of management consulting experience across the U.S. and Canada, Kenneth Amoah, MBA (Case Western Reserve University), Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Certified Scrum Master, offers a best-in-class, evidence-based playbook for Scrum Masters, CEOs, business owners, and leaders determined to achieve enduring agility.
Inside, you’ll discover how to:
Diagnose why Scrum implementations fail and prevent regression into outdated practices.
Move from “doing Agile” to being agile by aligning organizational, operational, financial, and leadership systems.
Embed the Ken Amoah Agility Flywheel™, a groundbreaking framework rooted in Scrum’s three pillars—Transparency, Inspection, and Adaptation—that transforms adoption from a one-time event into a self-reinforcing loop of Delivery, Learning, Culture, Innovation, and Renewal.
Apply the Voice of the Engineer™ (VoE) Assessment, a first-of-its-kind tool that makes engineering well-being, workload sustainability, velocity accuracy, and safe reporting into governance-grade requirements.
Prevent transformation fatigue by celebrating small wins, measuring momentum, and reinforcing the weakest link in your Flywheel.
This guide is more than a manual—it is a strategic resource for leaders who want agility to become part of their organizational DNA. With practical checklists, self-assessments, and new frameworks, it bridges the gap between Scrum theory and real-world execution.
Whether you’re a seasoned consultant, a new Scrum Master, or a CEO seeking organizational transformation, this book will challenge your assumptions, expand your perspective, and give you the confidence to lead with clarity, embed agility, and deliver results that last.
